If you went to college, do you remember the moment your parents dropped you off?
I definitely do. It's not something I'll forget any time soon.
But for Kerubo Anassi, her first day at school is something she wishes everyone will forget.
Kerubo, from Houston, just started her graduate program at The New School in New York City.
Her parents came along to drop her off. But when it was time for mom and dad to head home, a problem arose: their flight back to Houston was canceled due to Hurricane Harvey.
Kerubo's parents were stuck — although, I have to say, as long as you have somewhere to stay, New York City is not a bad place to get stranded.
Kerubo had to go to class, but that didn't stop her dad, Enock, from having a little fun.

Meet Kerubo. According to BuzzFeed, Kerubo, who is originally from Houston, is just starting her graduate program at The New School in New York City.
Kerubo's parents came with her to New York to help her settle in to her new home. But when it came time to fly back to Houston, they couldn't. Hurricane Harvey had caused their flight to be cancelled, and they were stuck in New York.
Even though her parents were still in town, Kerubo had to head to her first day of class. But her dad, who is a professor himself, according to BuzzFeed, was curious to see what his daughter's classes would be like — so he followed along.
Dad didn't just come to check out the classroom and meet the professor, though. He decided to stay for the whole class! He texted a picture of himself and Kerubo in class to the whole family. While Kerubo was embarrassed, brother Omete thought it was hysterical.
According to BuzzFeed, Kerubo was totally embarrassed by her dad's antics. He introduced himself to other students — and got his very own syllabus.
Omete couldn't get enough of his dad embarrassing his sister. He posted about it on Twitter.
Soon, other students were replying saying they were in similar situations. Hurricane Harvey had affected tons of flights, and plenty of other parents ended up stuck after dropping their kids off at college.
I think this is such a cute way to bond with your dad! I'm sure Kerubo will get over her embarrassment soon!
