A pacifier is affectionately referred to as a “Binky,” “boppy,” or “paci” (or a “dummy” in England), but whatever one might call them, they are universal, and toddlers just don’t want to give them up! Baby Rosey knows this all too well.
With some experience and probably many failed attempts, one patient daddy learned the tricks of the trade and how to cleverly get his adorable toddler to voluntarily give up her pacifier.
The little cherub couldn’t be any cuter as she quietly sits in front of the TV watching her cartoons. She has beautiful blonde locks, a yellow bow in her hair to match her yellow pants, and a mini white cardigan with heart-shaped buttons.
When her daddy calls her, she pretends not to hear him, until he walks right up to her and says “Hello?" She still doesn’t give up the act and covers her baby blues in an attempt to hide, but her daddy is onto her. He points out that he can still see her beneath her little fingers.
Then, presto — her daddy says the magic words, and Baby Rosey voluntarily gives up her pacifier! Check out what the magic words are in the adorable video below.
While pacifiers can help with teething, fending off thumb-sucking, or soothing your child, you can’t depend too much on a Binky. We all had to learn that and give up our binkies, too. It wasn’t easy, but like many things in life, it’s a security blanket that you will eventually grow out of!
