A South Dakota dad perfectly re-created his daughter's honeymoon photos, with hilarious results.
Tracy Fritz and his family are all in a group text together, as many modern families are these days. A few days ago, Tracy's newly married daughter, Natasha Stroup, sent a few photos of her honeymoon in Hawaii. The photos show off her rings, the sand, and the ocean.
When Tracy received the photos, he was at work on his farm in Hazel, South Dakota. He decided to have a little fun and reply with his own "Dad version" of the photos.
"She was showing the scenery around her, I just thought I’d show the scenery around me," Tracy told BuzzFeed News.
Natasha's sister, Kylie Fritz, posted the photos to Twitter, where they were liked over 28,000 times. Though Tracy's "honeymoon" photos aren't quite as scenic as Natasha's, he did accomplish his goal.
"I'm glad I could make my daughter popular," he said. He says he was "just trying to make [Natasha] laugh."

Natasha recently got married and went to Hawaii with her husband for a honeymoon. She sent some photos of the trip to her dad, Tracy Fritz, along with the rest of the family in the group chat.
Tracy was on his farm in Hazel, South Dakota, when he got Natasha's texts. Rather than just reply to the photos, he decided to actually re-create them in a simple but funny way.

For a dad joke, you have to admit — this is actually pretty funny!
Natasha's sister Kylie thought so, too. She posted the photos to Twitter, where they went viral.
"I just thought it was funny," Kylie told BuzzFeed News. "I think my dad’s funny. He doesn’t think he is."
Well, the internet definitely agrees with Kylie.
They adore her dad, actually. He reminds some Twitter users of their own dads.
Some even joked that Tracy just needs a ring on his finger to match (though it appears that he is partnered with Natasha and Kylie's mom).
Natasha said that she showed her dad's photos to her husband immediately.
“I was like, ‘seriously, look at what my dad just sent me,’" she told BuzzFeed News.
She added that this type of thing is "typical" for her dad.
"He's just a smart aleck," she explained.
"He didn’t say anything. He literally sent the photos, that’s it."
As for Tracy? He says he was just trying to make Natasha laugh.
Good work, Pops! Mission accomplished.
