For years, Peter and his wife Meredith had been trying to have their first child together but weren’t having any luck.
After much heartbreak and disappointment, Peter decided to go along with a plan that didn’t quite sit right with him, but ultimately, he wanted to make his wife happy, so along came baby Brianna.
When their daughter Brianna was born, Peter found himself unable to fully connect with her. He suddenly felt like an outsider in his own family. Despite his reservations, he tried his best to be a supportive husband and father.
