Being a dad comes with a lot of responsibility. You're your children's protector, their handyman, their wisdom, and their friend. So, when there's a spider, you have to kill it. When there's a leak in the kitchen that they almost slip on, you have to fix it. And when they're going through some crazy moments in life, you have to help them through it.
Plus, you have to love them and enjoy them with (or without, for those single dads out there) their mom, and be there for them always.
But, some of the best moments are the moments that your kids look up to you for a bunch of those titles all rolled up into one!
And this video shows a perfect example of that.
When this dad heard something rustling around in his gutter, he decided to explore it. And as he said, "when I got close and listened carefully, there was a surprise waiting for us." It was a bird chirping!
He decides to then take the gutter down, with his kids help of course, and then lay it in the lawn for the bird to escape. But, it seemed that this little one needed a bit of help, so, as the camera continues to roll, he stands the gutter up. He gently shakes it and the bird falls out of the bottom as if he was being poured out into the world!
This moment, I'm sure, made dad a protector from the noise they weren't sure of, a handyman in investigating and fixing it, and also a smart, kind, and brave man! What could be better? This dad has two little ones admiring him already.
