This colorblind dad of three beautifully young children, Opie Hughes, had a birthday to remember when he finally tried on the pair of glasses that would change his life forever.

His girlfriend started a Kickstarter dedicated to Hughes’ birthday surprise. After receiving the last contribution for his glasses, she ordered them via rush delivery and got the glasses just in time for his birthday.
His reaction, like a lot of other EnChroma glasses recipients, was a beautiful moment to witness, even through video.
Upon being able to see reds and greens again through these wonderful glasses, he was also able to see his children’s eye color for the very first time in his life.
