Young girls rely on their dads for a lot in life. Whether it’s walking us down the aisle once we’ve grown up or making sure we know the importance of being goofy now and then, we learn so many important lessons from our fathers. Of course, our moms are really, really great, too — but there’s something about the bond between a daddy and his daughter that’s extra special.
Clearly, this baby girl has learned that early on as she snuggles up with her pop. The tot looks like she’s totally zonked out as he gently rocks the chair, but as soon as he lifts his hands up she let’s him know that cuddle-time is not over yet! She reaches back and places his hands right back into hug-mode while mom giggles from behind the camera.
I love how obvious it is that this sweet girl totally runs the show when it comes to her dad’s heart. She’s definitely his little princess. The adorable moment reminds me of spending quality time with my dad back in the day! I remember going to “bring your daughter to work day” with him and, as he would introduce me to his co-workers, he would point to my pinky and explain how he was “wrapped around it.” This dad is in the same boat, only she keeps him wrapped around her whole self!
