For some dads, having a daughter means scheduling time for tea parties, ballet recitals, and princess movies. Some little girls, however, would rather spend their time hanging out in the garage, catching a football game, or teaming up to nab bad guys in a video game. Personally, I was a bit of both sides of the coin, but it didn't matter really what we were doing. As long as we were spending time together, I was thrilled!
Which I'm sure is exactly how this li'l tomboy feels while she helps out her pop in the backyard. Together, the adorable duo makes quick work of mowing the lawn and cleaning up the grass clippings. While her dad takes care of the first step, obviously not wanting his daughter to take the reins on the lawnmower for at least a few more years, she hops into her toy bulldozer to tackle the piles of grass.
I can't help but be impressed as she maneuvers the bright yellow vehicle with ease. I was far less skilled back when I had my Barbie convertible back in the day. To be honest, I was too afraid of the strange motor sound to ever take it for a spin! Luckily, my older brother was more than happy to take over when we would tool around in the neon pink car.
This little champ has no fear as she knocks out her load of leaves and heads back for another round. Maybe these two should think about going into the landscaping business together!
