Getting engaged is such a huge milestone in a person's life.
Nowadays, there are so many creative ways to pop the question, like getting a flash mob together to help out, or even getting down on one knee while receiving your college diploma.
But what about ways of telling the special people in your life?
When I got engaged, the first person I called was my mom, and it's easily one of my favorite memories that I will ever have.
The woman in the video was clearly thinking the same way — letting mom know that you're engaged is sure to be a big deal!
So when the camera is rolling, you expect the newly engaged woman to let her mom know the good news, but instead, she tries to subtly show off her hand. Telling her mom to look at her manicure, her mom simply does NOT get the message!
But once it registers that there's a beautiful engagement ring on her daughter's hand, she completely loses it. You HAVE to watch her expression… It is by far the most priceless reaction that I have ever seen from a parent!
I think it's so sweet that the whole thing was filmed, so now both mother and daughter can remember that incredible moment in which such amazing news was shared!
