When little Alyssa and her baby brother Liam got the chance to go to Disneyland, they had no idea that Disney's slogan, "Where Dreams Come True," was actually a real and true statement!
It seemed like just another day at the amazing theme park, Belle from Beauty and the Beast, was walking about, the music was happily playing, everyone seemed incredibly happy. But for 4-year-old Alyssa, things just weren't the same lately.
Her father, Lt. Scott Brown, a brave Marine, had been overseas fighting in Afghanistan doing everything he could to ensure the future and safety of his two tiny little children. While little Alyssa was enjoying her time at Disneyland, things just weren't normal without her dad.
So when she met up with the beautiful Snow White, they suggested that they give a special wish at the famous wishing well. Snow White and Alyssa both closed their eyes and made that wish, that Daddy could come home safe and sound.
It seems like the wishing well truly did its magic, because a few seconds later we get to see Scott come into the picture. Alyssa, a look of shock and disbelief on her face slowly walked to her dad for a hug that they'll both remember for the rest of their lives.
For the rest of the day this little angel kept right by Scott's side, and every few minutes was heard saying, "I missed you Daddy."
A special thanks goes out not only to Scott for answering his country's call, but to his whole family who have sacrificed so much while waiting to welcome him home.
