She Fills Candy Molds To Make Things All Kids Love. Genius!

If you've ever had a child, you already know that there are basically two different responses they have when you tell them that it's bath time. Some children will jump up and down and excitedly and run to the bathroom to hop in the tub. They just love bath time. Other children will jump up and down crying and run as far away from the bathroom as possible. They want nothing to do with bath time.

Either way, you know very well that your kiddos (or even your grandkids) need to get clean, so they'll have to get in that bath whether they like it or not. So why not make bath time as fun as you possibly can for the time that they need to be in there. Fill the tub with toys and colored water and all other kinds of silly things.

One of the tried and true things that kids seem to love in the bath are special crayons that allow them to draw on the walls around the tub (or even the tub itself). They clean up pretty easily and give the kiddos a chance to get creative while they're also getting clean.

The one downside to bath crayons, however, is that they aren't very cheap and they usually don't last very long once the kids start drawing with them. So what if I told you that you could make your own DIY bath crayons? Well, you can!

Thanks to this awesome video from WhatsUpMoms on YouTube, you can learn how to make your very own bath crayons for the kids and grandkids to use during bath time. And it's pretty easy, too!

To make the soap crayons, you'll need glycerine soap, plastic (or silicone) candy molds — both of which you can find in your local craft store — food or soap coloring, a knife, and a microwave-safe dish. That's it!

To get started, you'll cut a small chunk of the glycerine soap and place it in your microwave-safe dish. Heat it up for about 20 seconds to melt it into liquid form and pour it into your candy mold. Now, before it starts to set, put in your food coloring and use a toothpick to stir it around. Fill up as many molds as you'd like and then all you have to do is place the molds into the refrigerator for an hour or two so they can harden. All done!

What a cool, easy tip. Are you guys planning to try this? I know I am. My little girl loves drawing with bath crayons so this should come in handy!
