Adorable Kids Perform Acoustic Version Of “Everlong” By The Foo Fighters

These days, it seems like music is getting worse and worse. Repetitive pop music has taken over the radio, and it has to make you wonder if it's even possible for kids today to grow up with good music. Luckily, it looks like the parents of Dylan and Lauren don't have to worry. They took the stage at open mic during Electric Picnic in Ireland to perform "Everlong": The Foo Fighters' 1997 hit that's still just as iconic today. This might be my favorite cover for this awesome song!

Isn't it awesome to see kids performing rock songs? I thought I'd seen it all when these three young girls performed an epic version of Metallica's "Enter Sandman," but this tiny duo did an incredible job giving "Everlong" a softer, sweeter touch. Who knew such a tiny voice could lend itself so well to a song like this? Just like this 7-year-old who sings the National Anthem like a pro, it's clear that these young stars were born with some serious talent.

Kids like this brother and sister team really give me hope for future generations. I can only hope that my own kids develop such great taste in music at such a young age! Don't be surprised if this isn't the last time you see these two — it seems to me that they're only a few years away from their rockstar careers!

If you love Lauren and Dylan's beautiful cover as much as I do, SHARE this video with everyone you know and help make these two talented kids famous!
