Halloween is nearly upon us! While this year's festivities might look a little different from years past, there's one tradition that you can definitely continue: looking through Halloween-themed recipes so you can bake and make snacks and treats together at home. While there is always an emphasis on candy and sweet treats on Halloween, there's no reason why you can't add a few savory snacks to the mix. After all, it's all about balance … right?
Whether or not you'll be trick-or-treating with your kids this year, you probably are looking for something to do together. In that spirit (get it?), here are 10 ideas for fun Halloween-themed recipes that the whole family will enjoy making together. Luckily, most of them don't even require that many ingredients, and they'll be done before your kids lose interest or wander off. Some of the snacks are super easy (mummy hot dogs, anyone?), while others look harder than they are (that brain dip looks intimidating, but don't be worried).
Happy haunting, families!
