Sir Elton John is known as one of the most iconic living musicians.
The singer, composer, and pianist has released over 30 albums in his 50-plus-year career, won nearly countless awards, and was named a "Knight Bachelor" of the English empire in 1998.
But Elton John is more than just a legendary musician.
He's also a father.
In 2014, Elton married Canadian filmmaker David Furnish.
The couple have two sons together, Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John and Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John.
Despite his massive fame and fortune, Elton does his best to keep his sons fairly private. He does not show their faces on social media, even though there are paparazzi photos online that do.
As the school year starts up, Zachary and Elijah are headed back to class like other kids — and Elton shared a precious snap of them in their uniforms.

Elton tries to keep his sons' lives fairly private, so he doesn't show their faces on social media. Still, he likes to share bits of his life with his followers. Here, he posts an adorable photo of his kids Zachary and Elijah gearing up for a soccer game.
It seems like the Furnish-John boys had a summer to remember. They got to hang out on the beach and spent some time in France.
But, as all kids know, summer must sadly come to an end. Now, Zachary and Elijah are gearing up to head back to school, like millions of other kids all around the world.
Before the boys headed off for their first day of school, though, dad had to snap a picture! He shared this on Instagram with the caption: "Warms my heart ❤️ #backtoschool"
Elton does not share the boys' faces on social media, but how cute are their uniforms anyway? It makes me wish I wore a fun uniform when I was in school!
The precious snap brought up nostalgia for lots of Elton's fans online. It definitely makes you miss the good old days at school!
A full day of class might not be as fun as a day visiting Dad in a real-life music studio, but if I remember correctly, the beginning of September is always a great time to be at school.
Lucky for Zachary and Elijah, they have a loving family to come home to after a long day of learning!
