Many people plan their hypothetical families and name their future children when they are still kids themselves.
Whether Simon Hooper planned on fathering four girls or not is unclear. What is clear is how much he loves his family, which, including his wife, comes to a grand total of six members.
To borrow words from Simon's Instagram bio, the father of four is "outnumbered" by five women. One of the ways Simon handles this is by keeping his followers updated with his family's day-to-day life and its occasional struggles.
The main thing visible from his chronicles is the family's fun-loving parenting style, and how a little sense of humor can go a long way. In Simon's case, this is especially true in the absence of male company.
Even the most simple household and child-tending tasks have a way of turning into a fiasco when four kids are involved. In his own words, "Life with 4 daughters is never what you'd call quiet or relaxed. In fact, living in a house full of drunken long distance lorry [truck] drivers and builders who have strong opinions about the world would still be quieter."

Even a traditionally quiet activity like drawing turns into a party at the Hooper household. However, it looks like Simon wouldn't have it any other way.

In fact, he seems to fully embrace his role as the "outnumbered" member of the girl gang. They even have the T-shirts to prove it!

And of course, nothing says fatherly duties like "being used as a mobile human climbing frame."

Come to think of it, nothing says fatherly duties like embodying the characters instead of merely reading a bedtime story.

Then again, maybe some fatherly duties are meant to be shared.

Of course, bedtime can't be expected to be the smooth-sailing affair it's expected to be when infant twins and "Taylor Swift impression karaoke sing offs" and older sisters are just upstairs….

Unfortunately, sometimes bath time receives some uninvited insect guests that require dual parent attention.

It goes without saying, girls and yard work are no one's favorite combination.

And apparently babies aren't much help when it comes to domestic activities like doing the laundry.

But no matter what life throws at this heavily female family, dad knows that he's lucky to have them.
