Thanks to The Late Late Show host James Corden, singing your heart out in the car has never been a more popular activity. Of course, it's not a revolutionary idea, but he and his famous pals certainly have a knack for making it look extra fun! It reminds me of being a teenager and cranking the tune in one of my friend's car while we drive aimlessly around the city. Well, at least until we realized how much gas was costing us.
While Corden's antics are a delight to watch, I love seeing all the regular folks he's inspired to record themselves doing the same with their loved ones. To be honest, I probably would be mortified if someone ever saw me singing my heart out in my car by myself, but it's never embarrassing when you have backup singers to help you out!
Obviously, family members are obligated to look a bit goofy with you at a moment's notice, but when this father and son decided to croon an old duet by Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr., "Me and My Shadow," it's pretty clear that's exactly what this dad's little buddy is — his shadow.
Matt Clayton and his son Archie really get into the music as they make their way around town. It's not too surprising considering Clayton spends his free time playing in a band. He even jokes about how Archie is giving the bandmates a run for their money! But mostly, he's just happy to see how many viewers have enjoyed their impromptu duet.
