For many people, being a parent is a dream. Often, they think about that perfect family life — the big white wedding, the suburban house with the white picket fence, the easy pregnancy, and the quickly growing family.
What most people don't think about, though, is infertility.
As unfortunate as it is, a lot of couples who want to have children suffer with infertility. Often, this means months or years of fertility treatment, which can be physically and emotionally draining.
Tiffany Rex and her husband, Mark Wojtowicz, were disappointed when they realized they couldn't get pregnant naturally, but they knew they were never going to just give up.
The couple turned to fertility treatment, eventually taking the serious step to pursuing IVF.
Now, just weeks away from welcoming their baby girl to the family, Tiffany is sharing their emotional fertility treatment story, along with photos of the process.

As I sit here preparing for Avery’s last baby shower, I thought I would share her story.
So many people have confided their journeys to me after our announcement, and I wanted to share more detail on the long road we faced to help give hope and strength to others.
I added detailed captions on the photos for those interested in the process.
I am so grateful to be where we are today, and pray every day for those still on their journey. It is not easy, but it is is doable.

Baby Avery, we loved you so much before you were even created. We cannot wait to hold you in our arms in 8 short weeks.
On some of the photos, she wrote:
Ahhh, the hormones…..
…and this was only the ones that weren't in the fridge. Wrapping our heads around how to work them all and when to inject was so overwhelming.
Ouch!
That's what 50 shots in your tummy over 14 days looks like!
Finally, Tiffany made it through the process of embryo transfer — and was totally done with the shots.
And… she was pregnant!
Tiffany's Facebook friends were amazed by her story and wrote comments praising her strength.
One woman wrote, "Wow I didn't know you went through all that! You are very courageous!"
And another woman commented, "This was a very special and tearful journey with you through this post. Thank you for sharing."
