We have all experienced it at some point or another. The first full day away from Mommy and Daddy. There is probably nothing more difficult for both parties involved, especially when it's the first day of school.
The parents have to deal with an empty nest. The constant worrying about whether or not your child is having a good time. Are they a good student? Are the teachers good? Are they thinking about me as often as I am thinking about them?
One little tyke clearly answered the last question. One of the last kids to be picked up from her class, the little girl was spotted by her teacher perusing the colorful classroom. At first glance, you'd think this girl is cool as cucumber.
Clearly, she had no trouble adjusting while her mommy and daddy are away. She is surely adjusting to being a big girl quickly. You might think that… until you see her reaction when Daddy shows up. (And thank goodness he captured this on camera.)
At first, she doesn't realize he's even there. Then, she hears his familiar voice say, "Hi, baby girl!"
She puts down the book in her hands and runs to Daddy. She rushes over, bursting at the seams with joy! She practically rips the door off of its hinges and looks up at her father. It is pure joy. It is the kind of reaction every parent hopes for: all love.
