Five-year-old Rebekah Simpson is being hailed a hero after her quick thinking saved her mother's life.
The young girl was playing in the backyard, when she noticed her mother had collapsed and wasn't moving. She had suffered an epileptic seizure at their home in Langford. Knowing her mom was in trouble, she dialed 911, just like her grandmother had taught her.
Paramedics arrived and were able to get her mother Olena Simpson to the hospital in time. She has recovered from the seizure and is doing fine, all thanks to her little girl.
