This Florida Woman Expected A Tiny Newborn, But She Was In For A HUGE Surprise!!

A few months ago, I wrote about the birth of Mia Yasmin Garcia, an adorable newborn baby who arrived just as any mother would want. She was healthy, happy, and had two arms, two legs, two eyes, two ears, and an adorable little nose. She was just like all the other babies born every second around the world.

Oh…she also weighed a whopping 13 pounds and 13 ounces.

I thought I would never see a baby as big as Mia until I read about the birth of Avery Ford in Tampa, FL. Avery is definitely the biggest baby I've ever seen, weighing in at 14 pounds, one ounce — he might actually be the largest baby born in Florida history.

His mother, Maxxzandra Ford, couldn't believe the size of her baby, and Avery's dad says his son is destined to be a linebacker. I won't disagree.

The size of Avery is stunning enough, but there's another twist to this story that makes it truly unbelievable — and it's not just that he was born with a full head of hair.

Maxxzandra says that because Avery was so large, she thought she might be having twins. That's a fair guess, considering Avery weighed 14 pounds and one ounce, as much as two babies.

The doctors estimated that the baby would weigh approximately ten pounds. They were close, but in terms of babies, four pounds is quite a difference!

Shockingly, the mother didn't even know she was pregnant with this big guy until her third trimester!

This is called a cryptic pregnancy, and it's more common than you might think. Nearly one out of every 475 pregnancies is a cryptic pregnancy, where the mother shows no symptoms until nearly 20 weeks in.

Maxxzandra has given birth two times before, but their size didn't compare to Avery's.

He is definitely a "huge" blessing, and wasn't even delivered by C-section.

Can you imagine a 14-pound baby? I think Maxxzandra described the experience best: "I was cussing up a storm."
