Raise your hand if you could use a little pick-me-up (or three) right about now? I know my arm is stretched high in the air. With most Americans — and humans around the world, for that matter — being asked to stay home as much possible these last few months, we’ve all had to take on a lot more. Many of us, in addition to our regular jobs, have become teachers, full-time personal chefs, IT experts, and so many other things. (I’m happy to report that I’m getting to be a fairly decent dog groomer!) We could all use some special treats as we head into summer. Which brings me to a new program that I just stumbled across: P&G Good Everyday

Sign up for P&G Good Everyday Rewards here!

The gist of Good Everyday: You’re rewarded — with treats like ice coffee, manicures, and streaming movie rentals — for buying essentials you’re already buying anyway. To get your goodies, just scan your receipts when you buy P&G products. I like to do this as soon as I order or get home from the store, so they’re not lost in my email or crumpled at the bottom of my bag. For every eligible P&G product, you’ll get 50 points you can redeem for gift cards and experiences. You’re not the only one who benefits, either: Just by signing up, you’ll trigger a donation to a cause of your choice — like providing period protection to girls in need or delivering clean drinking water to kids. Yep, it’s a major win-win.

Curious what sorts of products will earn you rewards? I’ve found a slew of eligible items that are regularly on my shopping list. In the spirit of keeping a clean home during quarantine (or hey, at least trying), I’m calling out some of my favorites for all those household chores that need to be done … between Zoom meetings.

1. Fave for my kitchen: Mr. Clean Magic Eraser

P&G

I’ve been hooked on the Magic Eraser ever since I was an intern (some, ahem, 15 years ago) and I spilled coffee all over my white dress on a big meeting day. An amazing staffer took me to the bathroom and used a Magic Eraser to clean it right up (an off-label use, for sure, but think of it as an insider tip on how to maximize its usefulness). Now, I use these to clean my shower, wipe down my greasy stovetop, clean up the inside of my oven door, and so much more. These things really are magic, no exaggeration — and with the P&G Good Everyday program, you can scrub the house, then get your feet scrubbed with a pedicure you’ve definitely earned.

2. Fave for my floors: Swiffer Sweeper

Is there anything more convenient than a Swiffer Sweeper? There isn’t. I live in a house that’s more than 200 years old — and remember that dog I mentioned earlier? I’m constantly cleaning up spider webs and hairballs. I seriously can’t imagine what my house would look like without my Swiffer. Bonus: You can recycle all Swiffer refills, and earn yourself points towards a f-r-e-e cup of coffee when you scan the receipt.

3. Fave for my dishes: Dawn Powerwash

To tell you that my mom won’t stop raving about Dawn’s new Powerwash spray would be the understatement of the year. She has been talking about this stuff so much, I finally decided to try a bottle. As usual, mom really does know best. Instead of washing a sinkful of dishes, one by one, you just spray everything down with Powerwash and let it sit. Then, the task is as easy as wiping and rinsing. No more scrubbing grimy pots. Ever.

4. Fave for my clothes: Tide Original Scent Liquid Laundry Detergent

P&G

I’ve tried other laundry detergents over the years (rather, my husband has tried; the man loves to do laundry, what can I say!) and I can’t even tell you how much I’ve disliked them. Some have made me break out in allergic rashes (ew!) while others just haven’t left my clothes smelling fresh enough. This is the jug we reach for time and time again, and I don’t see that changing any time soon.

5. Fave for freshening things up: Febreze AIR Ocean

P&G

The vibe in our house can get a little stale with all of us home, and I’m not just referring to our moods. This is where Febreze comes in. You may be familiar with the fabric spray, but this stuff is meant to be spritzed into the air and instantly freshens things up. I like the Ocean scent because, well, we’re not by the beach and I’d like to be. Until then, a spritz keeps me sane (and earning some free self-care helps give me vacay vibes, too).

Getting freebies (and giving back) is as easy as going shopping! How many of these products do you already have on your list?
