Standing in the checkout line at a store isn't fun for anyone. The wait can be frustrating, the people around you aren't happy to be there either, and you know that you're about to spend some of your hard-earned money.
But what's even worse than waiting and spending? Getting to the register and not having enough money to pay for your items.
Not only is this an embarrassing situation, but you most likely need the items that are in your cart. It's upsetting and stressful to have to leave without them.
Luckily, there are good people in the world who are willing to step in and help people in their time of need, even if they're complete strangers.
Like this kindhearted man who helped a single mom in need by paying for her car repairs, or this woman whose dog's medical bills were paid for by Mike Goldberg of CBS 6 as part of the news station's "Month of Giving Back," their reactions say it all!
For a young mom trying to buy diapers in Walmart, her coupon not going through meant that she would be leaving the store without the item for her baby. But that's when a Good Samaritan decided to step in and pay it forward.
