It's always intimidating to meet someone for the very first time. You don't what they're going to be like, or if you're going to get along with one another.
All you can do is be yourself and hope for the best!
Just look at this tiny pit bull puppy meeting her new family for the first time. Lucy is friendly, but not pushy. She's curious, but not nosy. She's doing a fantastic job, and everyone seems to be falling right in love with her!
Then, there's this sweet little girl meeting her new baby brother for the first time. She's very emotional, but she holds it together and sings him a sweet little song instead of crying.
It's the perfect way to make him feel comfortable with his new family! She's already an awesome big sister, and they've only known one another for a few minutes.
For Hannah Ayers, meeting her newly adopted brother Eli was a big deal.
As the video shows, Hannah was a bit overcome with emotion when Eli tried handing her a stuffed animal that he had brought with him, but she got over the tears pretty quickly.
The next thing you know, Hannah is picking Eli up in a massive bear hug and neither of them could be smiling any bigger.
It looks like the sweet start of one beautiful friendship, that's for sure.
