Playing dress up is one of the best things about being a small child. It’s not so awesome, however, for pets. Little Sierra had to learn this the hard way after her futile efforts at dress up failed with adorable misery.
We’ve seen these two on LittleThings before. Most recently, Sierra and her Newfoundland Sebastian sang a sweet duet together while mom caught it on film. And in yet another video – one of my favorite dog videos of all time – Sebastian responds to a “sore subject,” an unspeakable topic involving the word “cupcake.” And now we’ve another to add to their list of adventures.
When Sierra tries to bestow on noble Sebastian a purple crown, the acquiescent (albeit visibly annoyed) gentle giant tries to turn a corner to hide his head. When Sierra’s finally able to slip it on his head, she quickly discovers that not everyone wants to be princess. She's shocked!
“I don’t think he wants to be a princess,” says mom.
“Really?” says little Sierra. “Okay, okay. How about a prince!”
When mom patiently points out that Sebastian doesn’t want a crown of any kind, her response is hilarious. It’s absolutely worth watching until the end.
