Gisele Bündchen was all smiles while on vacation in Costa Rica this week.
The 42-year-old was spotted by photographers during an outing, but she didn't seem bothered by the attention. In fact, she appeared completely joyful and carefree.
It must be that post-divorce glow.
Gisele was definitely in vacay mode. She had on a matching crop top and stretchy pants set. Her laid-back vibe was completed by her big smile and beachy waves as she hung out with her son Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian, 9.
While the supermodel is likely feeling happy to have her divorce behind her, she also couldn't be mad at the settlement. Gisele is now the sole owner of what was once her and her ex-husband's abode on Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula. Sources revealed to Page Six that she will keep the home, while Brady will keep their $17 million Miami mansion.
While the supermodel has seemed confident in her decision to divorce Tom, he has expressed sadness over the end of his marriage. “I’ve always tried to do the best I could do here, and then when I leave here, I try to do the best I could do, and that’s what we all try to do,” he said recently.
"I’m sure everyone sitting in this room, sitting at home, just trying to wake up every day doing the best they could do for their families and their career, and I’m no different."
At the very least, the couple were prepared for the possibility of divorce. Sources revealed to Page Six that there was an "ironclad prenup" that was set up before they wed in 2009.
“They both have their own separate business entities, so the separation of their wealth wasn’t that complicated in the end. The only other major factor was dividing up their massive property portfolio.”
