Everyone loves a good movie where characters overcome incredible odds to find their happy ending.
Unfortunately, things don't always go so smoothly in real life and we have to use all our strength to fight. That's why people in Hollywood and beyond are joining together to support the man who helped bring us inspirational films such as Miracle, The Rookie and Million Dollar Arm in a time when he needs it more than anything.
Gordon Gray and his wife Kristen's lives came to a screeching halt this past may when his 4-year-old daughter Charlotte was diagnosed with the incurable degenerative brain disorder Batten disease. The worst nightmare for any parents got even worse when just a few days later, their 2-year-old, Gwenyth, was diagnosed with the same fatal condition.
Now, the Grays are the ones in need of a true miracle and they've reached out to the Hollywood community to help raise the $10-12 million they need for experimental care to help find a cure.
Big stars like Rihanna, Mark Wahlberg, Jennifer Garner, and our new favorite "good guy," Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, have promised to run the following video on their Facebook page, asking for fans to donate $1. If just a small percentage of people reached out to help, it can help save these beautiful little girls and others who suffer from this devastating disease.
Please check out the moving video and then SHARE this video to help give Gray girls a fighting chance.
