When a young nursing student named Tiffany graduated, she knew plenty of celebration was in order. After all, it's not every day that you complete a rigorous nursing degree!
Her family and loved ones all felt the same, including her boyfriend.
He decided to surprise her with a very special graduation gift that would be deeply meaningful for both of them. Part of the strong connection between Tiffany and her boyfriend is their shared Christian faith.
With that in mind, he chose to get her a beautiful, monogrammed Bible as a graduation gift.
But he also hid a second gift inside the leather-bound book.
Like the dad-to-be who used his baby's gender reveal to create the perfect moment, this savvy young man decided to make an extra special day out of Tiffany's graduation, with a little bit of help from that special, custom-made Bible.

A young woman named Tiffany recently shared her incredible graduation day story as part of an online Facebook contest at the Lace Cakes Bakery in Sentinel, Oklahoma.
Her story is a powerful, moving meditation on love and faith. So many people were inspired by Tiffany's words that some 100,000 people hit the "like" button, and nearly 50,000 shared the beautiful story.

Tiffany writes:
I had just graduated nursing school.
He told me he had a gift to celebrate how proud he was of me.
I guessed a million different things but he wouldn't tell me what it was.
Eventually he gave in.
He told me that he wanted to give this to me in front of our friends and family but decided to do it when it was just us.
He pulled a box out from behind his back and handed it to me.
I could tell from the unwrapped package that it was a Bible.
When I opened the box my heart leapt.
On the Bible he had printed my first name and his last name.
I looked at him in confusion.
"Open it up" he insisted.
I opened it to the page he had bookmarked.
A lone passage in Mark was highlighted.
"And Jesus answered and said to them, 'Because of the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept. But from the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and female.' For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.'"
In the bookmark he had tied the ring.
When I looked up he said "You are the answer to all of my prayers, will you please be my wife?"
I, of course, said "yes."
The impossibly sweet story had people all over the world reaching for their hankies.
Fittingly, Tiffany shared her story in hopes of winning the Lace Cakes Wedding Cake Giveaway.
