With Hurricane Harvey ravaging parts of the state of Texas, many residents fled their homes right before the storm hit. Unfortunately, many others weren't able to escape in time. Some decided to hunker down at home and wait the storm out, which has resulted in many people having to be rescued from houses that were partially or completely submerged in floodwaters.
For one grandma from Houston, the manner in which she was rescued has gone completely viral!
When this grandma was rescued from her flooded home, she did it in style. Fortunately for us, a photograph of her — taken right before she fled — was taken and posted online.
Imgur user Webborwebbor posted the image online with the caption "My friend's grandmother being jet skied out of her living room in Houston."
Since its posting, the image received nearly 800,000 views on Imgur, and has been commented on and shared thousands and thousands of times!

Hurricane Harvey hit areas of Texas extremely hard during the final few days of August 2017, submerging entire city regions in floodwaters.
Many residents, especially in Houston, were forced to evacuate — some even had to be rescued — from homes overcome by the storm.
Some homes were almost completely submerged underwater.
It hasn't just been human residents that have needed to be rescued — animals have needed help too!
Luckily, rescuers have come from everywhere to lend a helping hand, with neighbor helping neighbor at every turn.
This image of a grandma from Houston, posted online by Imgur user Webborwebbor, has gone viral not only for the stylish mode of transportation used to rescue her, but also for the warm smile she gave to the camera before leaving!
The photo went viral on Reddit with thousands of shares and comments, with one commenter remarking how it should be "the new image of America."
Another commenter said the image made them wish they were in Texas too, helping residents in need.
