Jayla Williams went to visit her grandmother at her home in Arkansas, only to be turned away. Maedean Wilson-Brewer refused to let Jayla inside the house. In fact, she told her to leave.
That's because Jayla showed up wearing jeans with wide open rips across her thighs. "She was looking naked,” Maedean told WREG.
When Jayla pushed back, Maedean doubled down. She took the opportunity to teach her granddaughter a lesson.
"I don’t care if you call your mother," her grandma told her. "She shouldn’t have let you come over here wearing those pants."

Jayla started recording their conversation about the pants, which went viral on Facebook. Maedean had no clue her example of "tough love" would be met with so much praise and support.
