Grandpa Builds Epic Treehouse For Granddaughter… On Top Of A Silo!

A few years back, one Kentucky resident started a passion project in honor of his granddaughter. Rusty Combs wanted to build his beloved Kiley the playhouse of her dreams — and not just any playhouse, but one of which a child could only dream.

At first, the the 12×12 custom-made cabin looks pretty typical… but take a closer look. I won't give it away, so you'll just have to see for yourself.

Two years after Rusty began his build, Kiley's Clubhouse was finally complete. It became such a neighborhood attraction that hundreds of cars pass by every week just to take a look!

Scroll down to see it in all its glory. This is truly something special…

Rusty Combs always dreamed of building a playhouse for his two sons — but he never had the chance.

Decades later, when he heard he was going to be a grandpa to baby Kiley, Rusty decided to get to work. He wanted his beloved Kiley to have the playhouse of her dreams, nestled on his farm in Oldham County, Kentucky.

It was originally supposed to be a simple two-month project.

It started with a 12×12 custom-made cabin with bright red rooftop.

First, he built the house inside his garage. But then, he used a crane to lift the structure off the ground…

Kiley's Clubhouse hangs 50 feet in the air on top of an old corn silo!

To ensure the utmost safety for his granddaughter, Rusty got a building permit and the approval of a structural architect.

In order to reach the playhouse, you must climb up four 8-foot ladders. The interior features lighting, running water, and air conditioning.

But perhaps the most amazing thing about the playhouse is its magnificent view of the green land and tall water towers.

What kid wouldn't love to hang out here?!

After two years of hard work, Rusty's gift for Kiley was finally complete. It quickly became an attraction in Oldham County. Hundreds of cars are known to stop and take a look every week! "I'd probably stop, too," Rusty says.

This doting grandpa hopes Kiley will enjoy enjoy her clubhouse for many years to come.

What an amazing grandpa! He really pulled off the unthinkable. Please SHARE this with your friends on Facebook!
