6-Year-Old Boy With Dwarfism Shares A Touching Message About Being “Different”

He may look a little different, and that's OK. This amazing little boy wants the world to know that even though he doesn't look like most 6-year-olds, he's exactly like any other little boy.

When I first started watching this touching video, I was completely stunned. How can such a young boy know so much about love and how we should treat each other?

Grant was born with diastrophic dysplasia, a rare form of dwarfism. Or, as Grant puts it, he's a "little person". Life is a little more difficult for Grant, but he doesn't want to be treated any different than other kids.

Since they are about the same size, many people assume Grant and his baby brother are twins. However, while most little kids would be heartbroken hearing such things, what Grant has to say about his size is completely inspiring.

Grant's mom, Amy Pearce, posted the following video to YouTube, at the request of her brave little boy, who humbles us with his beautiful words. "My wish for the world is that everyone can love one another," Grant says in the heartwarming video. "We're are all just people doing our very best."

He may be small, and he may be young, but there's no denying this little boy has the biggest heart! Grant is bound to make you smile…and change the way you see others.
