Gwyneth Paltrow Enlists 16-Year-Old Daughter Apple To Help Model Her Newest Goop Collection

Celebrities have had to get creative while social distancing. Many of them aren't able to shoot ad campaigns and magazine covers the way they used to. They've had to learn how to make it happen with the help of loved ones. Gwyneth Paltrow is the latest to hop on the trend.

Gwyneth recently debuted her July Core Collection for G. Label, Goop's clothing line. Gwyneth took the modeling into her own hands but got some help from her mini-me, Apple Martin. Gwyneth's 16-year-old helped her model the luxury leisure line. Gwyneth's husband, TV producer Brad Falchuk, shot the photos while the family spent time in the Hamptons.

The bond between mother and daughter has been a beautiful one to watch grow. Though Gwyneth jokes that she constantly mortifies her kids, she and Apple seem to have a lot of love and understanding between them. It's no easy feat staying close during the teen years, but they look like they're having fun figuring it all out.

Gwyneth Paltrow found a way to make a recent socially distant photo shoot into a family affair! Gwyneth recently revealed G. Label's July Core Collection on Goop. Gwyneth enlisted 16-year-old daughter Apple to help model the collection, with husband Brad Falchuk behind the camera.

"It's what G. Label does best," Gwyneth said of the collection. ""

Gwyneth hailed the collection for its "effortless riffs on everyday basics." She certainly looks casual yet chic in all the photos she's shared from the collection.

Gwyneth and Apple came together in casual denim styles that give serious Americana vibes in the most timeless ways. Gwyneth wears Griffin Bootcut Jeans that retail at $295. Apple wears the Yu Denim Pencil Skirt, retailing at $325.

"We made both of these retro styles out of vintage-soft denim that's got a bit of stretch but still holds you in," Gwyneth said of the looks.

"The jeans are '90s, the skirt is straight out of the '70s, and the looks are as enduring as it gets. Heels, sandals, or barefoot like my daughter, Apple — you can wear them with anything."

Gwyneth also modeled a black bodysuit with a plunging neckline.

"Everything about this bodysuit is fantastic. The deep V is sexy, the racerback is flattering, and it's a great base layer underneath anything — especially these wide-leg pants," she said.

"They're based on an old designer pair I wore years ago and are just beyond cool."

Gwyneth also brought back some G. Label favorites.

"I had to add the Juliette to this month's Core Collection mix because my good friend Jennifer Meyer practically demanded that we make it in black. I love it with these Italian cotton-linen wrap pants from our April launch," she said.

Gwyneth's effortless style makes it seem bizarre that she's old enough to have a 16-year-old, but indeed she does. Gwyneth has been opening up about what her relationship with Apple as a teen has been. Just over the weekend, she shared a shot of the two of them hanging out poolside.

In May, she gushed over her love for her little girl when Apple turned 16. "I can't believe I'm actually writing these words but… happy sweet sixteen my darling girl. You are the light of my heart, you are pure joy. You are wickedly intelligent and you have the best, most dry, most brilliant sense of humor," she wrote.

"I have the best time being your mom. I love our nightly evening chats when I really get to hear what's on your mind. You work hard to get whatever it is you want to achieve, and you have grit and responsibility in spades. I am so damn lucky to be your mother, you beautiful, kind young woman. Thank you for choosing me. I adore you to the moon and back a zillion times. I’m sorry you are having this particular birthday during these circumstances, but as always with you, you find the best in everything. ."

Earlier this year, Gwyneth talked about what it was like taking Apple driving. It was a classic experience between the two, she admitted.

"The first time, I failed as a mother because she went through a red light and I kind of yelled at her and then she started crying," she revealed.

"It was just terrible and I felt so bad. So then I was just like, 'OK, you know what? I'm just gonna be chill and I'm gonna just pretend.'"

Once Gwyneth changed her approach, Apple got her bearings. She's now a "great driver," and was driving to school in the mornings up until shutdowns began.

Gwyneth has a house full of teenagers when you take into account 14-year-old son Moses and Brad's two teens, Isabella and Brody. It's surely a fascinating household to grow up in, boob puzzles, vagina candles, and all.
