Gymnasts Doing Beyoncé Workout Prove Why Girls “Run The World”

If you ever dabbled in gymnastic as a child, you'll remember the grueling stretch and core warmups before practice. But unless you were training at a competitive level, you probably weren't doing this kind of a workout…

In the video below, from YouTube user Mischa Boom, we watch as a group of young women take the mat for their pre-practice warmup. In the background, Beyoncé's "Run the World (Girls)" hits the stereo and all of the gymnasts start their core-burning routine — and it looks intense.

Completely synchronized in their routine for the better part of four minutes, it appears these seasoned athletes have practiced this routine before — but if you have any doubts, I encourage you to try even a minute of the full routine. (There's a reason it's been viewed more than 40 million times on Facebook.)

And these tough cookies aren't the only ones who get their stretches in with a little motivation from Queen Bey. Another recent viral video proved that Beyoncé hits make the best soundtrack for a pump-you-up workout via the incomparable dance routine of a water aerobics instructor. If you want to see some Bey-level dance moves in action, that's the video you have to see.
