Teen Goes To School In Her Nice, New Shirt. Then Her Teachers Decide She’s Breaking The Rules

Schools from all over the United States will continue to struggle with the issue of what a student can and more importantly what they cannot wear.

Most often this issue is directed toward what females can and cannot wear with nationwide discussions and debates being focused around how much skin is allowed to show, whether or not leggings are pants, and how short can a skirt be until it is considered unacceptable.

While the debate rages on, both sides are quite unwilling to change their minds. Many view it as a young woman's right to choose what she decides is the right thing to wear as an example of the first amendment; while others say that young women need to learn to follow rules and abide by what society deems is appropriate.

But when high school senior Tessa Wisloh showed up to class one day, these thoughts hadn't even crossed her mind when she got dressed that morning. The school has a strict "no sleeveless shirt" policy, and while Tessa was wearing a sleeveless shirt, she was wearing a zip-up jacket on top of it, thus making her arms not even visible.

However, a teacher wondered if Tessa was hiding a sleeveless shirt underneath, and told Tessa to show her arms. When Tessa showed that she was wearing a sleeveless shirt underneath, she was given a verbal warning, which is then added to her written permanent record.

Her dad was shocked when she came home that day, and the matter only got more confusing when they discovered that this situation wasn't even in the school's rulebook. Watch the video below and let us know what you think about Tessa's outfit!
