Proposals are getting out of hand. Well, for me anyway. I won't have anything unique left when I propose to my girlfriend!
All jokes aside, it's going to be hard topping a pilot tricking his girlfriend into thinking the engine in their plane is failing, or someone recruiting an entire dance troupe to surprise their partner.
It's definitely going to take some deep thought on my part, but the more I watch these videos, the more ideas I can get! But enough about me, let's get to the video. You're about to watch a proposal at a hockey game — but it's not exactly what you think.
We watch as two teams face off — in hockey, a face-off determines who will take control of the puck — with a referee between them.
Before the game though, the Canadian team, the Honey Badgers, was saddened to hear that their coach Mark couldn't make it to down to the game. But little did his girlfriend, the player wearing #5, know he was there all along.
Suddenly, instead of dropping the puck onto the ice, the "referee" got down on one knee in front of the Canadian player!
She still didn't pay him any mind, that is, until the ref took his helmet off.
Once she saw who it was, she shot up straight in shock and dropped her stick!
I won't spoil the rest of the video, but just know that it is an awesome surprise!
