A young Montreal Canadiens fan couldn't contain his excitement when he received a hockey puck during a game — and his adorable reaction has taken the internet by storm.
When right winger Dale Weise skated towards the fans, the young boy threw his hands in the air hoping he'd get the puck. Seconds later, Weise handed it to an older gentleman who made sure to give it to the excited little fan.
The little boy's reaction, which makes it clear how excited he was to have the puck in his hands, quickly went viral. It's truly a memorable sports moment, much like the time Cristiano Ronaldo defended one of his fans from a laughing crowd.
Canada's Sportsnet shared the video on their Facebook page and it received more than 2 million views in just two days. There was also a flood of comments from happy viewers, many of whom praised the hockey player. (He also tweeted the moment to his followers, writing, "Ha awesome!")
"It's absolutely fantastic when professional hockey players interact with the young fans like that. So cool!" one wrote.
Another said, "That's hockey, that's the excitement of the arena 'live' and those fans are what it's all about! Brought tears to my eyes!"
