Metallica Frontman Brings His Teen Daughter On Stage For A Touching Duet

Who says rock stars have to be tough guys all the time?

There's nothing we love more here at LittleThings than a precious family moment, and in this next clip we get just that…only it's probably a lot different from your family memories!

In the video below, we get to see a softer side to one of heavy metal's music's leading men: James Hetfield. The 51-year-old guitarist and lead vocalist of legendary metal band Metallica proves that even a frontman takes only one thing more seriously than his music — his kids!

Hetfield has penned some of the most well-known metal songs of our time, such as "Enter Sandman," which even these little girls from Europe love to rock out to. However, that doesn't mean he doesn't like to rock out to songs on the softer side.

During the Acoustic-4-A-Cure show that Hetfield organized to raise funds and awareness for Pediatric Cancer, the rocker invited his 16-year-old daughter, Cali, to join him for a cover of Adele's "Crazy For You" that will melt even the coldest of hearts. I think a lot of people expect rock stars to be more prone to partying over parenting, but Hetfield proves that being a dad is always the best job.

As you will soon see, the talent gene is definitely present in this family! What an awesome performance.
