Here at LittleThings, we've seen enough kids with "old souls" to last us a lifetime.
After sharing the story about this boy who swears he lived a past life as a Hollywood agent in the 1940s, I thought I'd seen it all, but it turns out he is far from the only kid nostalgic for a time long before he was born.
Meet Gabriel Angelo…or, as the people of San Francisco like to call him, "The Trumpet Kid." We've featured Gabriel's story before, but the following home video was too good not to share with you. Twelve-year-old Gabriel started playing trumpet when he was only six (imagine that!) and decided to add a little tap dancing to his routine a few years back after watching videos of one of his jazz-era idols, Fred Astaire.
Dressed in a suit, tie, hat, and his dancing shoes, when he isn't in school, Gabriel can be found performing outside Bloomingdales on San Francisco's famous Mission Street. In this clip, a group of tourists couldn't believe their eyes when they came across this kid, who looks like he is straight out of the 1920s or '30s.
He's truly one of a kind. My only question is…why isn't this kid famous yet?
