NFL star J.J. Watt visited a Houston YMCA this week to teach the children some of his football skills, but he left learning something new too.
The young kids taught the Houston Texans defensive end how to properly do the “Nae Nae,” a dance that’s so popular even some police officers are doing it.
"People tell me I'm terrible at the ‘Nae Nae’," said Watt, who previously used the dance in one of his touchdown celebrations.
The children took their teaching lesson pretty seriously and left Watt cracking up. Perhaps the 26-year-old's next “Nae Nae" performance will be even better.
This isn't the first time Watt made a child's day. Earlier this year, he left a 12-year-old singer speechless after he performed the National Anthem at a Houston Rockets game.
"I've got the greatest job in the world, man," Watt said at the YMCA outing. "I get to come out here and play a game every day and I get to do stuff like this. I mean, I realize how fortunate I am to be in the situation I'm in and I realize that someday, it's all going to end. I don't know why, but this year, I realized it more than ever, the fact that someday, this is all going to be over and someday, I'm not going to have all these great opportunities that I have, so I'm just trying to take advantage of everything I can and enjoy every moment I can."
