Kids today just don't know what they're missing out on! When I was young, my friends and I had to create our own fun. Today I feel like the older I get, the less I see that happening and it breaks my heart.
A lot of kids today run home to turn on video games, computers, and TV instead of using their imagination or getting outdoors. That's exactly why the following video lit up my heart when I saw it. At only 10 years old, Jonathan is already a talented young musician, but he's still just your average kid who gets a little restless at times.
They say boredom can lead to great things and that couldn't be more true with this kid. The young drummer began to create beats on anything he could get his hands on and he found the perfect acoustics in the most unlikely place – his family's washing machine.
This video is proof that a little imagination can go a very long way. It's so awesome to see a kid turn an everyday item into an amazing instrument. He's such to go far no matter what he's banging on!
