Khloé Kardashian Delays Naming Newborn Son; Source Says ‘She Wants It To Be Just Right’

Khloé Kardashian is delaying naming her newborn son because she wants to get this important decision right. She announced the birth of her son, her second child with basketball player Tristan Thompson, on Friday to People magazine. Her son was born with the help of a surrogate.

A source close to Khloé told People, “Khloé is on cloud nine. Getting a sibling for True has been such a journey. She is very excited to be a mom again. She really wanted a baby boy." The source goes on to say that "Khloé hasn't shared a name yet. She is taking her time with the name. She wants it to be just right."

Khloé and Tristan have not always had an easy or smooth partnership. They first started dating in 2016, and their daughter True was born in 2018. They broke up in 2019 after reports surfaced of Tristan cheating on Khloé. Since 2019, the couple have rekindled their relationship a couple of times but ultimately broke up again in January 2022. In July 2022, it was announced that Tristan and Khloé were having another child together despite not being romantically coupled.

A representative for Khloé told People, "We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November. Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We'd like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloé can focus on her family."

Tristan is now father to three sons. He has a 5-year-old son named Prince with ex Jordan Craig. He also has an 8-month-old son named Theo with Maralee Nichols. Theo was conceived when Tristan cheated on Khloé with Maralee. Maralee sued Tristan in January 2022 to get child support.

Taking the responsibility of naming a child seriously might be a family trait. Khloé’s sister Kylie Jenner is also going through her own naming conundrum. Kylie decided to change the name of her son, who was once called Wolf.
