Spending time with your children is always magical, with their special perspective on the world making everything just a bit more whimsical. It's amazing when parents take the time to encourage that spirit of wonder. Moms and dads don't even have to save up for a trip to Disney World to see that light in their kiddos' eyes, although that would obviously be a fun time for everyone. Adding your own personal touch for a surprise, like the incredible treasure hunt a father made for his daughter, is really all it takes to put the biggest smile on their face!
When this dad went for a walk with his daughters and son, he knew the nature of the woods would be an enchanting place to explore. With the girls dressed in adorable matching coats, he asks if they think any fairies might be around. It totally brings me back to being their age and searching for fairy rings with my friends! But what they discover after a few moments is even better than a simple circle of flowers.
Nestled at the base of a nearby tree, they find a precious fairy house complete with doors, windows, mossy rocks, and even a little glitter scattered around! The kids are mystified and excited to meet the inhabitants, but Dad warns them to whisper so they don't scare any of the sprites away. They take guesses as to whether or not she's home, and what she might be up to if she's away. I love his son's suggestion that she's out grabbing some more glitter!
