Little Kids Restore Our Faith In Humanity When They React To Dropped Wallets

When we misplace our things in public, we like to think that the people around us would do the right thing and return them to us. Unfortunately, as many of us who have lost our wallets or IDs or umbrellas have learned, strangers aren't always so kind, and there are many people in the world who prefer to benefit from our misfortune. But when does that selfish attitude start?

The Japanese Red Cross recently performed an experiment to find out if young kids would do what's right when strangers next to them dropped their wallets. I definitely thought the little cuties would be too shy to tell the adults what happened, but instead, they all shocked me in the most adorable way possible! Even if you don't speak a word of Japanese, I guarantee you'll have a smile on your face by the end of this video.

Maybe I'm guilty of being too cynical. After all, we've seen before that people are overwhelmingly more likely to return a dropped wallet than keep it. But I still think it's super sweet that even at such a young age, these kids know that letting someone know that they've lost something is the right thing to do. My favorite part was what one little girl did at 1:54. There's no doubt in my mind that these children are going to grow up to be A-OK!

These sweet kids prove that good parenting and a good heart are all it takes to make the world a better place. I hope these kids' parents are proud of both themselves and their children. I definitely know a few adults that could take lessons from these cutie-pies!

If these kind and adorable children made you smile, SHARE this video with all your friends!
