Kim Kardashian Believes God Made Her Daughter Chicago Look Exactly Like Her

Kim Kardashian West welcomed her youngest child, Chicago, back in January. As baby Chi has grown up, she's developed a striking resemblance to her mom. That's because of divine intervention, Kim says in a new interview.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star opened up about her 8-month-old daughter during her appearance on Ashley Graham's podcast, Pretty Big Deal.

Kim said Chicago "looks like, honestly, my twin mixed with Saint."

Kim and her husband, Kanye West, have two older children: son Saint, 2, and daughter North, 5. They used a surrogate for their third child after complications with Kim's first two pregnancies.

"I think I was so nervous to have a surrogate and to have that connection that God was like, 'I'm going to make her look just like you,'" the 37-year-old mom of three explained.

Kim went on to explain what it was like to use a surrogate, how Chicago got her name, and more.

Kim and Kanye had their youngest daughter, Chicago, at the beginning of this year. And as with any baby, people have been on the lookout for whom Chicago resembles the most.

Now that she's 8 months old, it's pretty clear whom she takes after: her mom.

On an episode of the podcast Pretty Big Deal, Kim reveals that she thinks Chicago's appearance was a divine intervention.

Chicago is "such a doll," Kim said. And she "looks like, honestly, my twin mixed with Saint. It's like the two of us in her."

Chicago's older brother, Saint, is 2 years old.

And unlike baby Chi, Saint is the spitting image of Kanye West.

While oldest sibling North somehow manages to look exactly like both of her parents.

Kim and Kanye chose to use a surrogate for their youngest child, since Kim had life-threatening complications with her first two pregnancies.

"I’m happy that I was able to carry my first two. I physically can’t do it anymore, or it’s too much of a health risk for me," Kim said. She suffered from placenta accreta during both of her pregnancies.

Though surrogacy was the best option for the couple, Kim had her doubts.

"I think I was so nervous to have a surrogate and to have that connection that God was like, ‘I’m going to make her look just like you,’" Kim said.

She doesn't regret the decision to use a surrogate at all, she says, though two of her sisters, Kylie Jenner and Khloé Kardashian, were pregnant around the same time that Chi was born.

"Seeing Kylie and Khloé with their big bellies… I don’t miss it,” Kim said. “There was a moment where I said, ‘Oh, damn, I wish I was doing this with them.’ Like I wish we had our sister photo shoot all together.”

But the three little ones have already bonded as fast friends.

Recently, baby Chi made her debut on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. The series showed Kim welcoming her baby girl home.

"My beautiful little baby girl Chicago is finally here,” the mom said.

And as for Chicago's rather unique name?

“The name Chicago… everyone asks me where we came up with that, and Kanye’s originally from Chicago, and the city is really connected to his memory of his mom, and so we went with Chicago," Kim explained on the show.

Kim also shared what a gift her surrogate was.

"I think it was the best decision I ever made. I think it was such an amazing experience. I would recommend it for anyone."

"All my fears of everything that I thought was gonna happen, like am I gonna connect? Am I gonna feel connected?” Kim explained. "All of that goes out the door and you just feel instantly connected.”
