Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons are married. The two first met back in 2016 on the set of Fargo and began dating shortly thereafter. They announced their engagement in 2017 and subsequently welcomed two children before tying the knot in July 2022.
Kirsten and Jesse didn't issue an official statement about their wedding, but both have spoken about their plans in the past.
In February 2022, Kirsten told The Los Angeles Times, "We call each other husband and wife. But we have to get married at this point. It’s ridiculous. We just haven’t planned a wedding. There was [the health crisis], then we had another child. I didn’t want to be pregnant, get married, have a party and not be able to have fun with everybody."
In addition to parenting together, the two have worked together on numerous projects, and in February 2022 Kirsten told The Hollywood Reporter that they are always open to more. She said, "We actually talked to [Power of the Dog producer] Tanya Seghatchian about what Jesse and I should do next. We have some ideas, and Jesse and I definitely want do another project. He’s my favorite actor to work with."
