Leslie Eggenberger was a hard working mom who wanted to show her two sons that it was okay to be different. So she gave herself a whole new look in the morning.
She started showing up in a T-Rex costume to walk her son, Max, to school, then realized she was getting noticed by other people, too.
In the video below, posted on April 17, 2017, Leslie is seen walking her second grader to school after he begged her to wear a Jurassic Park T-Rex costume.
They walk along, side by side, as another child's parent records their every move.
Leslie never expected her costume to gain so much attention among the public, after the secret recording was posted on social media for all to enjoy.
The mom of two explains, "I hope a lot of people actually, you know, maybe show it to their kids and just do things like that with their kids, because this is also what our kids are going to remember. You know, these silly memories that we make together."
Not only is Leslie's T-Rex costume a hit with her sons and social media users — her son's friends are also getting a kick out of their new dinosaur pal.
Out of everything that the video has done for her and her sons, she is just happy to bring smiles to the faces of others.
