Lexi Walker is only 12 years old, but when you hear her voice, you'll swear she's an old soul with a serious God-given gift.
You've probably heard the classic Christian hymn How Great Thou Art before, but I guarantee you've never heard it like this. Lexi started singing at two years old and, though she was never classically trained, her grandmother ensured she grew up surrounded by music.
Lexi's new vocal coach says the opportunity to work with Lexi is an honor. "I really enjoy teaching her because she has so much energy, and she’s so smart and catches on to pretty much everything that I teach her. She’s really just an amazing little girl."
Here's Lexi casually belting out some gospel music in the front room on a sunny Sunday afternoon — with accompaniment from none other than the amazingly talented Kendra Lowe!! By the final verse, I was completely covered in chills.
