You know the incredibly famous quote by William Shakespeare that goes, "Though she be but little, she is fierce"? Well, after watching this video, you might swear that Shakespeare was referencing 7-year-old Mahiro that you see here.
It's a saying that can actually be applied to many talented young girls, and is really quite empowering when you think about it.
While many people know that judging someone based on their appearance is almost always incorrect, and can be extremely hurtful, there are still a few people out there who would think that by looking at the little girl in this video, they could beat her in a karate match…and they would be oh-so-very wrong.
Much like the 8-year-old boxing champ, or the 3-year-old martial arts master, this karate star proves that just because you are small, it does not mean you can't pack a punch…or in this case a devastating karate kick.
It's all about the effort you put in to practicing what you love, and judging by this 7-year-old's skills, she is only going to get better as time goes on.
Maybe it is no coincidence that her name, Mahiro, sounds quite similar to "My Hero."
