From this couple who met the day they were born but didn't know to couples who fell in love in unusual circumstances, there are very few things more heartwarming than hearing an adorable "how they met" story.
One newly engaged couple, Maddie and Chuck, met under pretty unusual circumstances.
The pair first met in high school. But Chuck was a year older than Maddie, and she "always thought he was obnoxious," so they never spoke.
But years later, Maddie tweeted that she was heading to a wedding the next day and needed a date.
Out of the blue, Chuck offered. Even though she didn't know him well, Maddie figured it was better than nothing, and took him along to the wedding.
Little did Maddie know, that first wedding date would eventually turn into her planning a wedding of her own.

Meet Madison O'Neill. She is a college student living in Iowa and studying graphic design.
Two years ago, Maddie was attending a wedding and needed a date. As a joke, she posted on her Twitter account asking if anyone wanted to accompany her to the wedding.
Maddie probably wasn't expecting a response to her request, but, out of the blue, she got one.
The response was from Chuck Dohrmann. Maddie says she and Chuck went to high school together, although he was a year older and she "always thought he was obnoxious." They didn't know each other well, but Maddie took him along to the wedding anyway.
For his part, Chuck admits that he actually called out of work sick because he wanted to go with Maddie so badly.
As it turns out, Chuck made the right decision. The wedding date went really well. So well, in fact, that the Maddie and Chuck began dating each other soon after.
Chuck is in the Navy, but the loving couple made their long distance relationship work for two years.
But then, two years after their first date, everything changed when Maddie was visiting Chuck in San Diego. While they were out on a date, Chuck dropped to one knee and asked Maddie to marry him.
Of course, she said yes.
Two years after Maddie asked for a date to someone else's wedding, her story is coming full circle!
I think it's so amazing how this love story turned out! Hopefully, Maddie and Chuck will have a beautiful wedding and many years of happiness together.
