Sometimes, we take some of the material things we own for granted, like our homes, our cars, and all the little things in between. Some less fortunate families have to make due with the little that they own, and try to make their children happy by coming up with creative solutions to make them believe that they aren't missing out on their childhood.
We're sure that you remember splashing in your backyard pool, or in a friend's pool, on select hot summer days. But other children, who may not have the same opportunities, have to resort to shocking ways to create makeshift pools.
A man named Todd Arredondo saw a heartbreaking scene in a viral photo on the internet, and it moved him so much that he decided to change not just this family's life, but others' lives as well. The photo featured kids "swimming" in the back of a water-filled pickup truck.
Todd was even shocked to see that the family was being bullied by strangers for their makeshift swimming pool.
So, he decided to help the family out: He purchased and delivered an inflatable pool to their door. The act of kindness undoubtedly changed their lives. But Todd didn't stop there.
